Fred at Greens and Tees Construction Limited has many years experience in the shaping, project management and finishing of golf courses in the UK and Europe. He is a highly skilled shaper, using either a dozer or a 360 excavator.

As part of a team, or as an individual, Fred has worked with or directly on behalf of some of the most prominent architects in the golf course construction industry. He is also very capable of using an array of equipment to finish the project to the very highest of standards.

Although golf course shaping and project management are the main part of Greens and Tees work load, other services available are:

  Greens, tees and bunker remodeling
•Domestic landscaping
•Dry stone walling and hard landscaping
•Football, rugby and cricket pitch construction
•Pond and lake construction

Greens and Tees Philosophy

Greens and Tees Construction Limited aims to give golf clubs and other sports facilities a different approach to remodeling in these troubled times of the credit crunch. 

Many golf clubs would prefer to use their own staff, where possible, when constructing new greens, tees and bunkers to reduce costs. However they may not have the plant operator skills or shaping experience to take on such projects themselves. Fred is happy to fill the void these clubs have by supplying himself on a shaper/operator only basis.

 As a highly accredited shaper he can work to architects drawings, or give advice on the club’s and manager’s own ideas. Fred can also advise on quantities of materials and take responsibility for all on site activities, including the hiring of appropriate plant and machinery, to see the project through to completion and handover.
